A traditional Romany bow top wagon, restored to its former glory and now a wonderful retreat away from the hectic pace of everyday life.
Here at Penyrallt Home Farm in West Wales you have the opportunity to relax in your very own gypsy caravan and log cabin on an organic working dairy farm.
Accommodation is suitable for a couple plus babe in arms, if you have older children then you'd be welcome to bring along a tent which could be set up on the lawn or to use the sofabed, but a maximum of 3 people. A travel cot and highchair are available for use.Inside the wagon is a full size double bed, you do have to climb up into the bed as its higher than a normal bed, but this isn't a problem for most people (there is a sofabed in the cabin as an alternative sleeping space) and there are underbed cupboards and cushioned seating to be found inside and a battery lantern and fairy lights for lighting.
Alongside the wagon is the log cabin which has been handcrafted and built with materials from the farm by Will and his father David Robinson, as has the private decked area and handmade bench and table for you to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility. You'll also find an open fire pit for your use, where you can sit and roast marshmallows should you wish to do so.
Inside is the living space, where you'll find a log burner, a sofabed and tv to watch dvd's and a clock radio with an ipod dock and a bookshelf with a selection of books to read. The kitchen comprises of a belfast sink, fridge, 2 ring gas burner, microwave and all other basic essentials and there is also a shower room, with sink and flushing toilet, all supplied with water from our own spring. Come and enjoy a holiday in a gypsy caravan in West Wales.
Bedlinen, towels, logs, tea, coffee, sugar and our own milk are all provided free of charge.
1 well behaved dog is allowed to stay but please let me know as there is an extra charge of £20 and take into consideration our animals and dogs that we have on the farm.
No smoking in wagon or cabin, thank you.
